Today is December 7th, “a date that will live in infamy” in the immortal words of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt following the Japanese attack on America’s fleet docked in the Pearl Harbor Naval Base in Hawaii in 1941, that brought the United States into the Second World War.  The official government version that has persisted for 71 years is that the Japanese pulled off a sneak attack that took the United States completely by surprise.  It was conclusively proven long ago, however, that the United States knew in advance that a Japanese armada was crossing the Pacific to attack our ships.  In fact, Roosevelt deliberately ordered the fleet to remain in Pearl Harbor to bait the Japanese into attacking which would provide justification to enter the war that had been opposed by the majority of Americans.  The Government’s assertion that Pearl Harbor was a sneak attack, therefore, is a lie.

President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in November, 1963.  The President’s Commission on the Assassination of President Kennedy, commonly called the Warren Commission, concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone gunman who fired two shots at the presidential motorcade in Dallas, Texas. The Commission’s report said that one bullet missed and the other “hit him in the back of the head, exited out his neck and then continued on to hit [Texas Governor] Connally in the back, wrist and leg.” This finding was ridiculed since the bullet’s trajectory would had to have changed angles and directions in midair.  Critics sarcastically called it the “magic bullet” since it was scientifically impossible for it to have done so.  A subsequent investigation by the United States House Select Committee on Assassinations reached a totally different, more logical conclusion that at least four shots were fired, that there was “a high probability that two gunmen fired at [the] president,” and that a conspiracy was probable.

Although there are a lot of conspiracy theories out there as to who was involved in killing Kennedy, the focus here will be limited to the media’s unwavering persistence on parroting discredited government propaganda that Oswald was the lone gunman who shot Kennedy once in the back of the head.

In 1992, Dr. Charles A Crenshaw, a member of the emergency medical team that tried to save the president’s life wrote in his book J.F.K. Conspiracy of Silence, that Kennedy had also been shot twice from the front.  In early 2000, Kennedy autopsy photos were leaked which clearly showed a gaping entrance gunshot wound to the front of his neck.  It would have been impossible for Oswald to have shot the president in the back of the head and in the front of his throat at the same time unless it was using boomerang bullets.  The photographs not only conclusively proved that at least two gunmen were involved in the assassination, they also confirmed Dr. Crenshaw’s contention that he was shot from the front and rear.  This means that the official explanation of Kennedy’s assassination, just like the one given for the Pearl Harbor hoax, was a lie.

Then we have the Obama administration’s claim that Osama Bin Laden was killed in Pakistan by elite U.S Navy Seals on May 11, 2011.  Osama is accused of masterminding the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Virginia.  The United States put up a $25 million bounty for his capture dead or alive.  Osama is reported to be 6 ft. 7in. tall.  Anyone that height wearing a dress and leggings is going to stand out.  He was also reported to be undergoing dialysis treatments due to kidney failure.  Dialysis patients have to undergo treatment sessions at least three times a week with very sophisticated equipment and supplies under sterile conditions .  Dialysis patients also require close monitoring by a doctor and all sorts of prescription medications.  The average lifespan for a person on dialysis is 4 years, unless they get a kidney transplant.  The foregoing makes it highly improbable that Osama could have received dialysis treatments in Afghanistan caves or a hideout in Pakistan for 10 years without being detected.

President Obama solemnly announced from the White House that Osama had been terminated with prejudice in a daring raid on his Pakistan compound.  The accomplishment gave him major credibility and stature as a strong Commander-in-Chief and he was not at all shy about taking full credit and accepting praise for killing America’s Enemy Number One  during the 2012, presidential campaign.

Now, I really want to believe the brother, but I must admit I have some serious doubts.  I’m not from Missouri, but you have to “show me” to make me a believer.  It concerns me that the only photograph the administration released that is purported to be of Osama, showed the back of a dude wearing a turban watching television.  It was impossible to tell from the photo the identity of the person.  The famous photo that appeared on the front page of newspapers around the country the morning after of the President, Hillary Clinton holding her hand over her mouth as if in shock, top military brass and senior White House advisers as they watched on television the raid on Bin Laden’s compound turned out not to be as it appeared.  It was initially reported that they were watching the raid in real time, but it was later revealed that they were actually watching CIA Director Leon Panetta on close circuit television as he described to them what he was supposedly watching as it went down in real time.  So, the President and his crew didn’t witness Osama getting his ticket punched.  They are going by what they were told. The Government never released photos of Bin Laden’s dead body and there is no evidence to support the assertion that he was dumped into the sea instead of being buried according to Islamic law.  They haven’t released the names of the soldiers who carried out the deed– men who ordinarily would have been paraded before the media and hailed as American heroes. The only proof the world has that Bin Laden existed and was killed by American forces last year, once again, is the word of the Government.   Given the dismal track record for truth telling, I’m going to hold judgment on the veracity of the claim in abeyance for now.  Maybe in 50 years, the real deal might be leaked.

Meanwhile, my prayers are for the sacrificed 2,403 American casualties, including 68 civilians and the 1,178 military and civilians that were wounded at Pearl Harbor so that another 416,800 Americans could be killed in the war.
